Vilardebó directed several acclaimed short films, including La petite cuillère (1960), which explores the cultural significance of a spoon in ancient Egyptian rituals. He also directed Calder's Circus (1961), a documentary capturing Alexander Calder's miniature circus performances. His work is characterized by a keen interest in art and culture, often highlighting the intersection of visual art and film.
