Born & raised in beautiful downtown Burbank, just blocks from Disney Studios and a plethora of other major studios. Kulpa started working behind the scenes in Hollywood at the age of 19. Destined to work in the media, as his father co-owned and ran a television repair shop. Yes, there once was were repair shops, yet his father actually did house calls, and on occasion to some celebrities! Kulpa got the Hollywood bug while with his father, visiting Mike Connors, Bill Conrad & Edmund O'Brien's home. O'Brien let a then 5 year-old Kulpa clutch his Oscar, and he then always wanted to strive and work in the media. This was cemented over his adolescents as his father took his work home, and had televisions being 'observed' for customer return in every room of the house, even in the bathroom. Mind you this was in the 1970's & 80's when televisions were big and bulky. Kulpa co-produced his first film at the age of 18, having broke his piggy bank and purchase a big VCR videotape camera. The project consisted of friends and colleagues taped all around Burbank, Studio City & Griffith Park. Kulpa then interned at Shop Television Network, working with a plethora of celebrities. Kulpa then went on to work on a bunch of major award shows, including the pinnacle, being The Oscars. Yearning for something for regular, Kulpa then applied at CBS. But, instead of getting a job in television, he started producing in radio at KODJ & KCBS-FM. Kulpa then went on air in Palmdale California at KTPI "Today's Hot Country." That was the start of working behind the microphone, as Kulpa has bounced around the country as a radio personality. Even coveting the morning funny man slot in a top 50 market. Kulpa even started his own voice production company, adding voice-over work to stations, and more importantly producing daily feeds for his clientele. Yearning to get back into television & film production Kulpa has taken on and is producing projects in Silicon Valley and around the San Francisco Bay Area.
