Wisnu Candra

Wisnu Candra grew up with activities of cooking cakes, sewing clothes, soccer clubs, illegal motorcycle racing, underground local music, and being a metal factory worker. These riches helped Wisnu to develop his films using observational and constructivist methods. His first short film titled "Meja-Makan/ Goodbye, Table Manner - 2018" won the Best Short Film award at FESTCIL 2018 Surabaya, Best Director & Best Sound Designer at the 2019 Indonesian Student Film Festival in Bandar Lampung. For Wisnu, film are a circus and loneliness, that's why at the end of his films, he gives the slogan "You'll Never Watch Alone".
