Carlo Beer (*1985) was born and raised in a village in the Swiss Alps. After his apprenticeship as a professional chef he spent five years in Los Angeles. After he returned to Switzerland, he moved to Zurich and started working as production assistant for film production companies. From 2015 to 2020 he studied writing and directing at the Zurich University of the Arts. In 2020 he wrote and directed the miniseries "Metta da fein". From 2021 to 2022 he attended the University of Television and Film Munich, were he developed a screenplay for a feature film. Carlo lives in Zurich and works as a freelance writer and director.
