Matthew Brdlik is a Director and Producer from Chicago Illinois specializing in gritty and realistic narrative and documentary works. Born in Plainfield Illinois, he first started into film by running several successful Youtube Channels throughout middle school and high school. At the age of 18 he went to DePaul University's School of Cinematic Arts. In his time at DePaul Matthew helped in the creation of over 25 narrative, documentary, and experimental films. This included Dissidence (2084) which he wrote, directed, and produced. The short went on to play at 13 festivals internationally as well as win Best Sci-fi at REEL international film festival and Best lead Actor at the Maine Student Film Festival. The film was nominated for 5 other awards. Since his graduation Matt has been working in various roles in freelance film production. He has also worked with The Hootenanny Commercial Post Production house, JJack Productions, and Fig Media.
